Pulsed Media Free Bonus Disk Policy

Bonus disk on Pulsed Media is earned storage that's added on top of your paid plan, computed from your tenure and payment history. As of May 2026, the bonus is applied at provisioning time — your full earned bonus appears on first login, with no waiting period.

Stay with us a few years and your earned bonus can exceed your paid plan. The cap is 300%, so a 1 TB plan can compound to 4 TB. Past 100% bonus is a regular outcome of formula compounding over years, not an outlier.

At a glance

Your free bonus disk grows automatically. The longer you stay, the more you've paid, the more services you run, the more product types you mix, and the more friends you refer — the more free storage you earn. Pay with crypto and you keep even more. Everything is capped at 300% on top of your plan.

When the bonus is applied

At provisioning (new services)

When you provision a new seedbox or storage box, the bonus your account history has earned is computed from your billing record and applied immediately. The new service comes online with your full base quota plus your earned bonus. You see the full quota on first login.

At purchase (storage upgrades)

When you buy extra disk through your control panel, the upgraded quota is live the moment the order clears. No delay, no waiting cycle.

At migration (server moves we initiate)

When we move a service between servers, your full earned bonus moves with you. The new server provisions with your bonus already applied — same as a fresh provisioning event.

Existing services

Services you already have continue to receive bonus through ongoing maintenance. Since May 2026, the in-place delivery sweep runs every 10 minutes across the full active customer base — a substantial speed-up over the prior schedule that sampled only a small subset of customers per cycle. Your earned bonus reaches your existing services far faster than it did historically, within available capacity on the node. PM-initiated migrations apply your full at-provisioning bonus on the new server.

How the bonus is computed

The core tenure and payment formula has run since 2022, expanded in May 2026 with engagement-based mechanisms that reward customers who pay with crypto, hold multiple services, diversify across product types, and refer others.

Tenure

+0.5% per month each service has been active
+0.1% per month since your billing profile was created

Payments

+1% per €62.50 paid (lifetime, minus transaction fees)
−1% per €5 in refunds

Engagement (added May 2026)

−1% per €15 in payment processor fees you've incurred — paying with crypto avoids these fees entirely, so crypto payers carry no fee penalty
+0.5% per currently-active customer you've referred, up to +10%
+2.5% per additional active service beyond your first
+5% per distinct service type you hold (e.g. Seedbox + Storage Box + Dedicated Server)
+0.5% per past service of yours that ran 180+ days from signup and was past Pending/Fraud at any point — rewards depth of service history
+10% (one-time bonus contribution) if you have any active service that signed up via a referral link — the referee-side mirror of the per-active-referral bonus

Total capped at +300%

The bonus reflects your account-level history, not just the individual service. If you have multiple services with us, each one earns bonus independently from your shared payment history and account tenure. A new service started today by a long-tenure account gets the full earned bonus on day one — it does not start at zero.

Worked examples

New customer, day 1: starts at 0% bonus. Bonus accrues over time.

Multi-service example: 3 seedboxes for 2 years at €10/month each. Each seedbox earns:

14.4% from time alone (24 months × 0.5% + 24 months × 0.1%)
11.52% from payments (€720 paid ÷ €62.50, counted account-wide)
+5% from extra services ((3 − 1) × 2.5%)
Total: ~30.9% bonus per service
On a 1 TB base, that is ~309 GiB of bonus per seedbox.

Long-tenure prepaid example: signup for 5 services at €30/month each, 3 years prepaid:

Day 1 signup bonus per service: 96.4% (86.4% from €5,400 prepaid, plus 10% from extra services)
End of 3-year term: ~118% per service (adds 21.6% tenure: 36 × 0.5% service + 36 × 0.1% customer)
On an 8 TB plan, that is ~7.7 TB of bonus per service on day 1, growing to ~9.4 TB by end of term.

Crypto vs card example (May 2026 mechanism): two customers each paid €1,000 over four years, same tenure. One paid with crypto (no processor fees), the other via card/PayPal (~€40 in fees):

Crypto customer: no fee penalty
Card customer: −€40 ÷ €15 = −2.67% from the processor-fee component
On a 1 TB base, that is ~27 GiB less bonus disk for the card customer — crypto keeps more of your storage

Engagement example (May 2026 mechanism): a customer with 5 active services across 5 different product types, plus 8 active referrals:

Service count: (5 − 1) × 2.5% = +10%
Diversity: (5 − 1) × 5% = +20%
Referrals: 8 × 0.5% = +4%
Total +34% on top of their tenure and payment bonus

Service-history and referee-link example (late May 2026 additions): a customer who joined via a friend's affiliate link, currently runs 2 active services, and has previously held 8 other services (all crossed 180 days):

Past-service history: 10 lifetime services ≥180 days × 0.5% = +5.0%
Referee-link bonus: +10.0% (binary — any one active referred service triggers it)
Total +15% from these two terms alone, on top of tenure, payments, and other engagement bonuses

Full-engagement example (May 2026 mechanism): a 4-year customer holding three active services across three distinct product types — an M10G L Seedbox (active 36 months), a 4 TB Storage Box (active 18 months), and a Dragon-R Toruk (active 6 months). Lifetime spend €1,800, mostly in crypto with ~€200 via card (~€13 in fees). 2 active referrals.

For their Storage Box specifically:

Service tenure: 18 × 0.5% = +9.0%
Customer tenure: 48 × 0.1% = +4.8%
Payments: €1,800 ÷ €62.50 = +28.8%
Card fees: −€13 ÷ €15 = −0.87%
Extra services: (3 − 1) × 2.5% = +5.0%
Distinct types: (3 − 1) × 5% = +10.0%
Referrals: 2 × 0.5% = +1.0%
Total: ~57.7% bonus
On a 4 TB base plan, that is +2.3 TB of bonus → 6.3 TB total quota, applied at provisioning.

The 36-month Seedbox on the same account inherits the same account-level terms (payments, fees, extras, types, referrals) and adds its own higher service-tenure component (36 × 0.5% = 18%), reaching ~66.7% — about 683 GiB of bonus on a 1 TB M10G L base. All delivered before first login, no waiting.

What does not count toward the bonus

The bonus is calculated on your base plan only. Storage upgrades you purchase are added to your quota separately — they do not multiply through the bonus formula. (We may revisit this in a future update.)

Migrations and resets

PM-initiated migrations preserve your bonus. The new server provisions with your full earned bonus already applied.

Customer-requested migrations are not currently part of the standard workflow. If you have a specific reason, open a ticket and we'll review case-by-case.

Capacity policy

We provision new services and migrations onto servers with enough physical capacity to hold your full base plus your earned bonus. If a server has insufficient room, provisioning routes to a different server rather than provisioning under-quota.

Limits

The cap is 300% of your base plan quota. A 1 TB plan can compound to 4 TB total (base + bonus). The cap applies per service.
