Pulsed Media Affiliate Program

From Pulsed Media Wiki

The Pulsed Media Affiliate Program pays you 10% recurring commission on every paid invoice your referees pay, as long as they remain a Pulsed Media customer. Commission is paid as account credit, automatically, every Monday — no application, no claim, no ticket.

The program has existed for years. As of June 2026, payouts are weekly, automatic, and emailed. Earlier, commission accrued in the background and had to be claimed by ticket; most affiliates never knew credit was waiting. The rebuild closed that gap.

At a glance

Your referrals earn you credit automatically. Every Monday at 09:00 UTC, the system pays out 10% of every paid invoice from customers you referred — directly to your Pulsed Media account credit. The credit auto-applies to your next invoice. Existing customers with €10+ lifetime paid are already enrolled.

Commission rate = 10% of every paid referee invoice (recurring)
Payout cadence = every Monday, 09:00 UTC
Hold period = 14 days between referee payment and accrual
Eligibility = €10+ lifetime gross paid to Pulsed Media
Per-affiliate cap = €100 per week (excess queues to next Monday)
Lifetime cap = 100× your own lifetime gross paid
Payout currency = account credit (applies to any future invoice; never cash)
Enrollment = automatic for qualifying customers; no application
 Notification       = email per payout

Your affiliate link lives in your client area under Affiliates. Share it where it fits — forum signature, podcast description, Reddit comment, recommendation to a friend.

How it works

When someone signs up to Pulsed Media using your affiliate link and pays their invoice, 10% of that invoice becomes commission owed to you. The commission goes through a 14-day hold — the same duration as our money-back guarantee — before it becomes payable. After the hold clears, your commission balance grows.

Every Monday at 09:00 UTC, an automated process pays out your commission balance as account credit. The credit is added to your Pulsed Media account and applies automatically to your next invoice — renewal, upgrade, new service, anything you buy.

You receive an email at each payout showing the amount paid that week, your lifetime referral earnings, and your current account credit balance.

When you get paid

Payout cadence

Payouts run weekly, every Monday at 09:00 UTC. There is no monthly batch, no minimum withdrawal request, and no need to claim or file a ticket. The system pays whatever you've earned that week, automatically.

Hold period

A 14-day hold applies between when your referee pays an invoice and when the commission becomes payable to you. The hold spans the 14-day money-back guarantee window — if the referee refunds within that window, the commission for that invoice is reversed cleanly before it pays out.

Notification

An email is sent every time you receive a payout. The email shows:

  • What you earned that week
  • Your lifetime referral earnings to date
  • Your account credit balance after the payout is applied
  • Any unpaid balance still queued (if you hit the per-week cap — see below)

What the credit does

Account credit applies automatically to your next Pulsed Media invoice. You don't need to claim, redeem, or activate anything. The credit is spent before euros are charged on renewals, upgrades, addons, and new services.

Eligibility

You are eligible for affiliate commission if all of the following are true:

  • Your customer status is Active or Inactive (not Closed)
  • You have paid Pulsed Media €10 or more in lifetime gross income (sum of payments minus refunds; transaction fees do not count)
  • Your account is not on the affiliate fraud-flag list

Enrollment is automatic. There is no application, no approval gate, and no manual activation. Once you cross the €10 threshold, the system enrolls you on the next weekly run.

If your lifetime paid drops below €10

If a refund causes your lifetime gross paid to drop below €10, you become ineligible for further commission until your gross paid crosses the €10 threshold again. Commission already paid out is not reversed.

Limits and caps

Per-affiliate weekly cap

You can receive up to €100 in affiliate payouts per week. If your accrued balance is above €100 when Monday's cron runs, you are paid €100 and the excess queues to the next Monday. Your commission does not disappear — it simply pays out across multiple Mondays at €100 each until exhausted.

This cap is a rate-limit, not a ceiling. There is no maximum total you can earn.

Per-affiliate lifetime cap

You can earn lifetime commission up to 100× your own lifetime gross paid to Pulsed Media. If you have paid €10, you can earn up to €1,000 in total commission. If you have paid €100, you can earn up to €10,000. The cap scales with your own investment in Pulsed Media.

Worked examples

Two friends paying €30/month

You refer two friends. Both subscribe to a €30/month seedbox and stay active. Each month, each referee pays €30. Your commission: 2 × 10% × €30 = €6/month added to your account credit, recurring as long as both remain customers.

Modest forum signature, five long-term referees

You add your affiliate link to your forum signature. Over a year, five people sign up and stay as paying customers. Their average bill is €15/month. Your monthly commission: 5 × 10% × €15 = €7.50/month — covering nearly the cost of a small seedbox of your own.

Hitting the per-affiliate weekly cap

You have a high-traffic affiliate link that brings in many customers. In a given week, your commission balance is €420.40. The Monday cron pays you €100 (the per-affiliate cap), and €320.40 queues to next Monday. Over the following four Mondays you receive €100, €100, €100, €20.40 until the queue drains.

Hitting the lifetime cap

You have paid Pulsed Media €50 in lifetime gross. Your lifetime commission cap is 50 × 100 = €5,000. You've earned €4,950 in payouts to date. Your next €50 in commission tops out the cap; any commission beyond that is forfeited unless your lifetime gross paid grows (e.g., you renew, upgrade, or buy additional services).

Refund causing eligibility loss

You have paid Pulsed Media €15 in lifetime gross. A €10 refund is processed. Your lifetime gross is now €5 — below the €10 eligibility threshold. New commission stops accruing until you pay more to bring your lifetime gross back above €10. Commission already paid out is not reversed.

Anti-fraud

Pulsed Media excludes accounts engaged in self-referral schemes, fake-account fraud, or other abuse. Flagged accounts do not earn commission regardless of accrued balance. The exclusion list is maintained by Pulsed Media staff and reviewed regularly.

The eligibility rule (€10+ own paid) requires affiliates to be real Pulsed Media customers before they can earn — preventing the creation of throwaway accounts solely to earn affiliate commission.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to apply or sign up?

No. Enrollment is automatic for customers who meet the eligibility criteria. Once you've paid Pulsed Media €10 or more in lifetime gross, you are enrolled on the next weekly cron run.

Can I withdraw as cash?

No. Commission is paid as account credit only. The credit applies to any invoice — renewal, upgrade, addon, new service. It is not convertible to cash via refund.

What happens if my referee refunds?

If your referee refunds an invoice within the 14-day hold period, the commission for that invoice is reversed before it pays out. If a refund happens after the commission has already been paid to your account credit, it is not clawed back. As long as your referee remains a paying customer, their future invoices keep generating commission for you; only the refunded invoice is affected.

Can I refer myself or my other accounts?

No. Self-referrals are blocked at the platform level (the affiliate system prevents linking yourself), and fraud-flagged accounts are excluded from payouts. Attempting cross-account self-referrals is a violation of program terms and results in fraud-flag listing.

Does my affiliate status expire if I cancel my own service?

No. Once enrolled, you remain an affiliate even if you cancel your own Pulsed Media services — as long as your account stays open (Active or Inactive status). Your commission continues to accrue from referees who remain customers, and your account credit balance remains yours.

If your account is fully closed, payouts stop. And if you cancel and re-sign up with a new account, the new account starts from zero — affiliate balances are tied to the original account.

Where is my affiliate link?

In your client area, under the Affiliates section. Each Pulsed Media customer has a unique affiliate link.

Program history

The affiliate program has been part of Pulsed Media since the early years of the company. For most of its existence, commission accrued in the background and required a support ticket to claim. As of June 2026, the system runs automatically: weekly cron, email notifications, automatic credit application.

The rebuild was driven by two observations: most affiliates never claimed commission they had earned, and the manual ticket-based process did not scale. The new system pays everything earned, automatically, every week.
